Central Government Approves Promotion of Four IPS Officers

Hyderabad: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has formally approved the promotion of four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from the 2012 batch, currently serving as Assistant Directors at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad. They have been elevated to the rank of Deputy Director (Level‑13A), marking a significant step in their professional careers.

This decision acknowledges their dedicated service, leadership qualities, and contributions to the training and development of future IPS officers at India’s premier police academy.

Promotion Details

According to the official order issued by the MHA, the competent authority has temporarily upgraded the posts of Assistant Director (Level‑13) to Deputy Director (Level‑13A) for these officers.

The upgraded appointments will take effect from the respective dates on which the officers assume charge.

The promotions will remain valid until the completion of their deputation tenure or until a clear vacancy of Deputy Director arises, whichever occurs earlier.

Radhika G (IPS:2012:KN)

Ajit Pratap Singh (IPS:2012:TR)
