The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the following appointments:
a. Mr Zaki Ahmad, IPS (UP:1993), IG, CRPF, has been appointed as Special Director General, CRPF (Level-16 in the pay matrix), with effect from the date of assumption of charge and until his superannuation on 31.03.2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
b. Mr Raja Srivastava, IPS (UP:1994), ADG, CRPF, has been appointed as Special Director General, CRPF (Level-16 in the pay matrix), with effect from the date of assumption of charge and until his superannuation on 28.02.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
c. Mr Amit Kumar, IPS (BH:1994), ADG, CRPF, has been appointed as Special Director General, CRPF (Level-16 in the pay matrix), with effect from the date of assumption of charge and until his superannuation on 31.10.2030, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
d. Mr Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, IPS (TN:1994), ADG, BSF, has been appointed as Special Director General, BSF (Level-16 in the pay matrix), with effect from the date of assumption of charge and until his superannuation on 31.03.2032, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
e. The following IPS officers of the 1994 batch have been appointed as Special Director, IB (Level-16 in the pay matrix), on an in-situ basis, by temporarily upgrading the posts of Additional Director held by them, for a tenure of two years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier:
Mr Apte Vinayak Prabhakar, IPS (TG:1994)
Mr Manmeet Singh Narang, IPS (MP:1994)
Mr Anurag Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:1994)
f. Mr Rakesh Aggarwal, IPS (HP:1994), ADG, NIA, has been appointed as Special Director General (Level-16 in the pay matrix), NIA, on an in-situ basis, by temporarily upgrading the post held by him, for a tenure of two years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
g. Ms. Anupama Nilay Chandra, IPS (BH:1994), ADG, SSB, has been appointed as Special Director General (Level-16 in the pay matrix), SSB, on an in-situ basis, by temporarily upgrading the post held by her, for a tenure of two years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
h. Mr Deepak Kumar, IPS (AM:1994), ADG, CRPF, has been appointed as Special Director General (Level-16 in the pay matrix), CRPF, on an in-situ basis, by temporarily upgrading the post held by him, for a tenure of two years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
