Born on 14 February 1989 in Srinagar, Sanskriti Jain grew up in a disciplined defence environment. Her father served as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force, while her mother worked in the force’s medical wing. Frequent transfers meant she studied in six different schools, an upbringing that shaped her adaptability and multicultural outlook.
She graduated from BITS Pilani (Goa campus), one of India’s premier technical institutes. Her interest in governance deepened when she received the esteemed LAMP Fellowship, which gave her first-hand exposure to policy research and legislative functioning.
