Two new IG join Chhattisgarh police administration

Two new top cops have joined Chhattisgarh Police administration as Inspector General of Police.

Recently though an issued notification, the state administration has mandated names of two IPS officers for the post of IGP in two different departments in the state. Names of the chosen police officers include Anand Chabra and Dhruv Gupta.

A year 2001-batch IPS officer, Anand Chabra has been made the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Scheduled Caste and Tribe Cell and Training whereas Dhruv Gupta, a 2005-batch IPS officer, has been deputed as Inspector General of Police (CCTNS, SCRB), overseeing the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network.
