Dr. Anupam Taiwar, IDES, Upgraded to Director-Level Post at LBSNAA Till September 2026
The Government of India has approved the elevation of Dr. Anupam Taiwar, IDES (2012 batch) to a higher Director-level position at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, under the Central Staffing framework.
Acting on the recommendations of the concerned department, the Competent Authority has sanctioned the re-designation of the post presently held by Dr. Taiwar from Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary level) to Deputy Director (Senior), a Director-level post. This upgradation has been granted as a personal measure in her favour in recognition of her current responsibilities and contributions at the Academy.
The revised designation shall come into effect from the date on which Dr. Taiwar formally assumes charge of the upgraded position and will remain operative until 6 September 2026, or until any further orders are issued by the Government, whichever occurs earlier.
It has also been clarified that Dr. Anupam Taiwar’s Central deputation tenure began on 7 September 2020, and the upgraded Director-level position will be counted within her approved tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme.
The re-designation is expected to further strengthen academic leadership and administrative efficiency at LBSNAA, India’s premier civil services training institution.
