The 1980 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre, Upendra Tripathy, Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy has been accorded with the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Power for the period of three months with the effect the date of relinquishment of charge by P. K. Sinha (IAS, UP:77).
