In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttarakhand government, under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has transferred 38 senior officials, including 25 IAS and 13 PCS officers. The large-scale transfers, announced late Saturday night, aim to enhance governance and streamline administrative functioning ahead of key policy initiatives.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chandresh Kumar has been appointed as Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department, with additional charges including Women Empowerment and Child Development, Commissioner, and Revenue Council Secretary

Mr. Karmendra Singh has been named the new District Magistrate (DM) of Haridwar and Meladhikari for the Kumbh Mela, Haridwar.
Mr. Mayur Dixit will take over as DM of Tehri Garhwal.
