The Uttarakhand administration has implemented another round of bureaucratic reassignments, redistributing roles among four IAS officers. This follows a larger reshuffle on May 10, which affected 25 IAS and 13 PCS officers.
As part of the latest changes
Ms. Nikita Khandelwal (2015-batch IAS) has been relieved from her position as Director of the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA). Mr. Gaurav Kumar (2017-batch IAS), currently Director of the Urban Development Department, will now take on the additional role of ITDA Director.
Mr. L. Fanai (1997-batch IAS), Principal Secretary, has been relieved from his duties as Secretary of the Food Department. Mr. Harichandra Semwal (2005-batch IAS), the current Food Commissioner, will now also serve as Secretary of the Food Department, holding dual responsibilities.
The reshuffle aims to optimize administrative efficiency in the state. Further updates are expected as the government continues to review key postings.
