Veteran IAS Officer Vijay Pratap Singh Appointed Member of Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission
In an important administrative decision, the Government of Rajasthan has appointed Shri Vijay Pratap Singh, retired Indian Administrative Service officer, as a Member of the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC). The appointment has been notified by the State Energy Department following formal approval from the Governor of Rajasthan.

He served as Commissioner in the Department of Tourism as well as the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), where he played a crucial role in policy planning, promotion of Rajasthan’s heritage tourism, and strengthening public communication systems.

Singh was appointed Managing Director of the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) and also headed the State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, where he focused on improving operational governance and institutional efficiency.
