The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Hyderabad is set to host the Passing Out Parade of the 77th Regular Recruit (RR) Batch of the Indian Police Service (IPS) on Friday.
A total of 190 officer trainees, comprising 65 women officers and 16 foreign participants, will mark the formal completion of their intensive police training program.
This year’s cohort highlights the Academy’s ongoing commitment to gender inclusivity and international collaboration in modern policing.
A Ceremony Celebrating Commitment and Courage
The parade represents the culmination of months of rigorous basic training, combining academic learning, field exercises, and leadership development. The event will be reviewed by Border Security Force (BSF) Director General Daljit Singh Chawdhary, who will also address the graduating officers.
His address is expected to draw from decades of experience in national security, paramilitary operations, and public service, inspiring the young officers as they embark on their policing careers across India.
Women Trainees Take Prominent Role
