ACC Approves Four-Month Extension of Foreign Deputation for IAS Officer Jujjavarapu Balaji as Minister (Agriculture) at Indian Embassy in Rome
Extension of the tenure of foreign deputation of Shri Jujjavarapu Balaji, IAS (AM:2001), serving as Minister (Agriculture) at the Embassy of India, Rome – regarding.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has granted approval to the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare regarding the extension of the foreign deputation tenure of Shri Jujjavarapu Balaji, IAS (AM:2001). Shri Balaji is currently serving as Minister (Agriculture) at the Embassy of India in Rome.
As per the approval accorded by the ACC, the tenure of Shri Jujjavarapu Balaji in the aforesaid position has been extended for an additional period of four (4) months beyond 29.08.2026, or until further orders are issued, whichever takes place earlier.
This decision has been taken based on the proposal forwarded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
