In a major development within the Rajasthan Police Department, the office of the Director General of Police (DGP) on Saturday released a list of 48 police inspectors promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
The promotions form part of a broader restructuring of the force, following a Personnel Department order dated May 20, which had earlier transferred four IPS officers and appointed new Superintendents of Police (SP) in Jhunjhunu and Hanumangarh.

Gajendra Singh has been appointed as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in the Police Control Room, Jaipur Commissionerate.
Uday Singh Chundawat, previously posted in District Bhilwara, will now serve as DSP, Cyber Crime, Bhilwara.
Laxman Singh Chaudhary has been transferred from Sirohi to take over as DSP, Crime Research Cell, Nagaur.
Suresh Kumar Swamy has been posted as DSP in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Jitendra Nawaria will now serve as DSP with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and Special Operations Group (SOG) in Jaipur.
