6 IAS Officers, Including Naveen SL, Relieved from Delhi Admin for J&K Posting

In line with directives issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on May 5 and May 16, 2025, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has ordered the release of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the Delhi administration for deployment in Jammu & Kashmir.

Among those relieved is Mr. Naveen S L, a 2012-batch IAS officer from the AGMUT cadre, who will now take up his new assignment in Jammu & Kashmir. He is joined by Mr. Gurpal Singh (2014-batch), Ms. Shreya Singhal (2020-batch), and 2021-batch officers Ms. Mahima Madan and Mr. Ananth Dwivedi — the latter two were awaiting their first postings.

In a separate notification, Mr. Anil Kumar Singh, a senior IAS officer from the 1995 batch of the AGMUT cadre, has also been relieved to report for duty in Jammu & Kashmir.

All six officers have been directed to assume their new responsibilities effective May 30, 2025.
