The 1983 batch IAS officer of Orisaa cadre, Injeti Srinivas has been appointed as Director General, Sports Authority of India in vacancy of Jiji Thomson (IAS, KL:80). Prior to this Srinivas was posted as Chairman, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority under the Dept of Pharmaceutical, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. Srinivas will continue to hold the post of Chairman, NPPA on Addl Charge basis till the appointment of new incumbent.
