The 1981 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre, Dr. Subhash Chandra Khuntia has been appointed to the post of Chairperson, Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India(IRDAI) for the period of three years. He will succeed T S Vijayan, who completed his five-year term in February.
