IAS Rakesh Kumar Verma has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.
Following a major bureaucratic reshuffle effected at the Director General and Additional Secretary level, IAS Rakesh Kumar Verma has been mandated to be given responsibility of Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.. Thus with the new order he has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the department.
A year 1993 batch IAS officer Rakesh Kumar Verma hails from Punjab cadre. At present he is serving on the position of Additional Secretary, Ministry of Tourism.
