The ECI has suspended one IPS officer along with ordering a comprehensive medical examination of another officer.
A year 1997 batch IPS officer SD Kutey (Odisha) has been suspended by the Election Commission of India (ECI). Kutey was currently serving as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Not only this, the ECI has ordered medical examination of Ashish Singh too. A year 2010 batch IPS officer Singh belongs to Odisha cadre. Now he is on leave.
