In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttarakhand government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, transferred a total of 38 senior officers, including 25 IAS and 13 PCS officers, late Saturday night. The move is aimed at boosting administrative efficiency in preparation for key upcoming policy implementations.
One of the most prominent changes includes Chief Secretary Mr. Anand Bardhan, who has been assigned additional responsibilities as the Chief Resident Commissioner (New Delhi), Chief Investment Commissioner (New Delhi), and Chairman of UPCL, PITKUL, and Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam.
Major District-Level Appointments
Among notable district-level postings, IAS officer Mr. Karmendra Singh has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Haridwar and also as the Meladhikari for the upcoming Kumbh Mela in Haridwar.
Mr. Mayur Dixit has been designated as the new District Magistrate of Tehri Garhwal.
