IRSME Officer Ishoo Ratna Srivastav Appointed Director in New & Renewable Energy Ministry Under Central Staffing Scheme
Shri Ishoo Ratna Srivastav, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), batch of 2012, who had been duly nominated for Central deputation by the Ministry of Railways, has now been formally selected for a key leadership position. He has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy under the provisions of the Central Staffing Scheme.
This prestigious appointment will be effective for a tenure of five years, commencing from the date he assumes charge of the post, or until further directives are issued by the competent authority—whichever occurs earlier.
In view of his new assignment, it has been requested that he be relieved from his current responsibilities at the earliest possible date. He has been instructed to promptly report to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in Delhi and take charge of his new role without delay.
This appointment reflects the government’s continued emphasis on strengthening leadership within critical sectors such as renewable energy, by deploying experienced officers with strong technical and administrative backgrounds.
