The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has sanctioned the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for the premature repatriation of Ms. Bhawna Gulati, a 2011-batch Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officer, from her central deputation assignment.
Ms. Gulati, who is currently serving as Chief Accounts Officer (CAO) in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), will now return to her parent cadre, the Office of Revenue, following the ACC’s approval.
The repatriation has been cleared subject to an “extended cooling-off” condition. Under this stipulation, Ms. Gulati will become eligible for another central deputation assignment only after 7 December 2030, which is three years beyond the completion of her normal deputation tenure in the current post.
The decision forms part of routine cadre management measures aimed at maintaining structured deputation cycles while ensuring optimal administrative continuity within central government organisations.
