Senior IAS officer Ajay Seth has been designated as Finance Secretary.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for designating IAS officer Ajay Seth as Finance Secretary. Currently IAS Seth is rendering services on the post of Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
Senior IAS Ajay Seth was earlier serving as Secretary, Department of Economics Affairs. He belongs to an IAS officers’ batch of year 1987. He is from Karnataka cadre.
