Following a recently issued directive by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, name of IPS officer Anupama Nilekar Chandra has been mandated for the post of Additional Director General in the Sashastra Seema Bal.
A year 1994 batch senior IAS officer of Bihar cadre, Anupama Nilekar is currently serving as Additional Director General (ADG) at the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D.
Nilekar will be serving on her new position as the Additional Director General (ADG) of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) for three months up to February 23rd, 2025.
