Appointment of Shailesh Bansal as Director in the Union Public Service Commission, Delhi

Shri Shailesh Bansal, an officer of the 2011 batch of the IP&TA&FS cadre, who had been recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Telecommunications, has been selected for appointment as Director in the Union Public Service Commission, Delhi.

His appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of five years from the date he assumes charge of the post, or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.

He is required to be relieved of his current responsibilities at the earliest, with clear instructions to assume his new role at the Union Public Service Commission without delay.

It is important to note that, in accordance with the directions of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), as conveyed through the Department of Personnel and Training’s Circular No. 3/4/2004-EO(MM-I) dated August 17, 2005, the officer must join his new assignment within a period of three weeks from the date of issuance of the appointment order.

Failure to comply with this stipulated timeline may result in the initiation of debarment proceedings from the Central Staffing Scheme.
