In a recent administrative move, the Haryana Government has assigned senior IAS officer Ashima Brar additional responsibilities with immediate effect.
A 2004-batch officer, Ms. Brar is currently serving as Commissioner and Secretary, Cooperation Department, and Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd.
As per the latest order, she will now also hold the additional charge of Commissioner and Secretary, Excise and Taxation Department, alongside her existing roles.
This appointment is part of the government’s routine administrative reshuffle aimed at enhancing efficiency and coordination across departments.
