Dr. Sagar Preet Hooda (IPS, 1997 batch) has been appointed as the Special Commissioner of Police (Intelligence Division). He will also hold additional charge of the Perception Management & Media Cell Division, as well as SPUWAC & SPUNER, units focused on tackling crimes against women and children.
Atul Katiyar (IPS, 1997 batch) has taken over as Special Commissioner of Police (Welfare), tasked with overseeing welfare initiatives and staff well-being within the department.
Sanjay Kumar (IPS, 1997 batch) will now serve as Special Commissioner of Police (Training), a crucial position responsible for shaping police training and capacity-building efforts.
