Kerala’s Anti-Corruption Crusader Publishes Third Work for Olympiad Aspirants

Kuwait City/New Delhi: Dr. Raju Narayana Swamy, senior IAS officer from the 1991 batch and Kerala’s widely respected anti-corruption crusader, has released his latest book for Mathematics Olympiad aspirants. The 104-page volume, built around 24 carefully selected questions from past Olympiad papers with detailed solutions, is designed to help students sharpen their problem-solving skills and excel in competitive mathematics.

This marks Dr. Swamy’s third book dedicated to Math Olympiad preparation and his 35th publication overall. The book was formally unveiled in Kuwait City at a special ceremony by Sanjay K. Muluka, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India and Acting Ambassador to Kuwait.

A Prolific Author and Distinguished Scholar

Dr. Swamy, who secured All-India Rank 1 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, has authored an impressive collection of 35 books across genres. His literary contributions include the Sahitya Akademi Award-winning travelogue Shantimanthram Muzhangunna Thazhvarayil and Neelakkurinji: Oru Vyazhavattathile Vasantham, which earned him the Kerala State Award for Children’s Literature.

Beyond literature, he is a noted intellectual property law scholar and governance innovator. In 2021, he received the Leonardo da Vinci Fellowship from George Mason University’s Center for Intellectual Property and Innovation Policy, honoring his research and contributions in the field of IP law.

Notable Achievements and Contributions

Served as Central Observer for the Election Commission of India a record 38 times, including as an International Observer in the 2018 Zimbabwe elections.

Recipient of the 2018 Satyendra K. Dubey Memorial Award from IIT Kanpur for his fearless fight against corruption.

Awarded the Homi Bhabha Fellowship in Cyber Law.

Holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras, a PhD in Law from Gujarat National Law University, and multiple gold medals in postgraduate law programs from India’s premier National Law Universities.
