As many as four IAS officers of Haryana cadre are in the chase of the coveted post of Chief Secretary to the Govt of Haryana. The names in the chase are:
Ajit Mohan Sharan of 1979 batch
P K Gupta of 1981 batch
K K Jalan and Dalip Singh of 1982 batch
Sharan is presently serving in GoI as Sports Secretary whereas Dalip Singh, Additional Secretary Agriculture has submitted has papers seeking premature repatriation.
