Government of India Entrusts With New Responsibilities to Six Bureaucrats

Six bureaucratic appointments and assignments have been announced by the Government of India.

The Government of India has issued a series of important administrative notifications regarding appointments and additional charges. The details are as follows:

Deep Shikha Sharma (IFoS: 2011: AGMUT) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Director level) for Himachal Pradesh, up to December 31, 2025.

Nikhil Pavan Kalyan (IAS: 2012: OD) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Director level) for Odisha, also up to December 31, 2025.

M. Sundaresh Babu (IAS: 2012: KN) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Deputy Secretary level) for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, until December 31, 2025.

J. Nivas (IAS: 2010: AP) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Director level) for Andhra Pradesh, up to December 31, 2025.

Ashutosh Agnihotri, presently Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Food Corporation of India (FCI), has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC).

Inder Deep Singh Dhariwal (IA&AS: 1992), serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
