In a major administrative overhaul, the Gujarat government has transferred 17 IAS officers and 1 IP&TAFS officer across departments and districts, aiming to enhance governance efficiency and policy implementation.
Key Highlights of the Transfers:
D.D. Jadeja (2012-batch IAS) has been appointed Mission Director, Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission under the Department of Science & Technology. He was previously serving as Collector, Gir-Somnath.
N.V. Upadhyay (2013-batch IAS), previously Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Gandhinagar, takes over as Collector, Gir-Somnath.
Nitin V. Sangwan (2016-batch IAS), District Development Officer, Junagadh, has been named Director of Employment and Training, Gandhinagar.
C.C. Kotak (2018-batch IAS) has been posted as Deputy Director General, SPIPA Ahmedabad, transferring from Deputy Director, RTC SPIPA Mehsana.
V.I. Patel (2019-batch IAS), previously Joint Secretary, GPSC, is now Additional Commissioner and Ex-officio CEO, Gujarat Municipal Finance Board, Gandhinagar.
