Harun Rashid re-appointed as Dy Governor of RBI

The government of India has re-appointed Harun Rashid as Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India for teh Period of two years with effect from 4 July, 2014. Rashid was first appointed as Deputy Governor in the year of 2011 for the period of three years and he is in charge of critical portfolios such as department of external investments and operations, department of government and bank accounts, department of payment and settlement systems, foreign exchange department and internal debt management department and inspection department.
