New Delhi: The Central government has approved extension of deputation for two Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers serving in Jammu & Kashmir. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) cleared the proposal based on recommendations from the Department of Revenue.

Raja Yaqoob Farooq (IRS-IT, 2014) – Extended till November 10, 2025
Bashir Ahmad Bhat (IRS-IT, 2014) – Extended till April 7, 2026
