New ADGP roles have been assigned to IPS officers Harishekaran P and Seemanth Kumar Singh in the state of Karnataka.
The Karnataka government has mandated to transfer four IPS officers rendering services in the state. Among the names of the Indian Police Service officers are Harishekaran P, Umesh Kumar (1995-batch officer), Seemanth Kumar Singh and Lada Martin Marbaniang.
IPS officer Harishekaran P was currently serving as Additional Commandant, Home Guards and ex-officio Additional Director, Civil Defence. Now with the new order he has been posted as ADGP, Crimes and Technical Services.
On the other hand IPS officer Seemanth Kumar Singh was the incumbant ADGP, KSRP. Now Kumar been transferred and posted as ADGP, Bengaluru Metropolitan Task Force.
