Punjab Government Orders Transfer of Two IAS Officers: Girish Dayalan Assigned MARKFED Charge, Preeti Yadav Shifted to Skill Development Department

The transfer order, issued on Monday, reassigns 2011-batch IAS officer Girish Dayalan and 2014-batch IAS officer Preeti Yadav to new responsibilities within the state administration.

Girish Dayalan, a 2011-batch IAS officer, has been entrusted with expanded responsibilities while continuing to hold his existing portfolios.

This move significantly broadens Dayalan’s role in Punjab’s cooperative and infrastructure sectors. His new charge at MARKFED, one of the state’s largest cooperative marketing federations, places him at the helm of critical agricultural procurement and distribution operations.
Preeti Yadav Transferred to Skill Development Department
Preeti Yadav, a 2014-batch IAS officer who previously served as Managing Director of MARKFED, has been reassigned to a new role in the employment and training sector.

Special Secretary, Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training
Her new posting positions her in a department central to Punjab’s efforts to tackle unemployment and enhance workforce capabilities through skill development initiatives.
