In a significant administrative overhaul, the Rajasthan government, led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, executed a major bureaucratic reshuffle late Sunday night, transferring 62 IAS officers, including 11 district collectors. The move marks a generational shift in the state’s top administrative leadership, impacting key departments.
Key Appointments & Transfers
Debashish Prusty appointed as Principal Secretary, Urban Development & Housing (UDH).
Anand Kumar, formerly ACS (Home), moved to ACS, Forest, Environment & Climate Change. He is succeeded by Bhaskar A. Sawant (previously with PHED).
Akhil Arora, who handled Finance under the previous Congress government, shifted to ACS, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED).
Vaibhav Galriya, ex-UDH head, takes over as Principal Secretary, Finance, Excise & Taxation.
