IPS officers Shamsher Singh and Ajay Kumar Choudhary have been assigned new responsibilities in Gujarat.
A year 1991 batch senior IPS officer Shamsher Singh, the Law and Order DGP, has been replaced by Rajkumar Pandian. IPS Singh is going to continue serving as the Director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Simultaneously, a year 1999 batch IPS officer Ajay Kumar Choudhary who earlier was serving as Additional DGP, has been transferred to head the Women’s Cell.
