Six IPS officers empanelled for Joint Secretary level posts at Centre

As many as six IPS officers have been empanelled for Joint Secretary level posts at the Centre.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has recently cleared the empanelment of 6 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers for holding the post of Joint Secretary/equivalent level posts at the Centre.

All the chosen IPS officers belong to 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2002 Batch of various cadres. Among them the names include Rajesh S Kamble (IPS: 1998: TR), Lhari Dorjee Lhatoo (IPS: 1999: MA), Mahesh Chandra Laddha (IPS: 1998: AP), Sumit Chaturvedi (IPS: 2001: WB), Rakesh Rathi (IPS: 2002: BH) and Anisa Husain (IPS: 2001: TN).
