Lucknow – The Uttar Pradesh government has continued its administrative overhaul in the police department, issuing transfer orders for 10 more senior IPS officers on Tuesday morning—just a day after reshuffling 14 others late Monday night. The latest round of transfers reflects the Yogi Adityanath-led administration’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and streamline leadership across the state police force.
According to an official notification, the reshuffle affects key roles at both the state headquarters and regional postings, including strategic areas such as economic offences, police training, technical services, and security.

Neera Rawat (IPS, 1992): Previously holding dual charges as ADG, UP 112 and ADG (Administration), she will now focus solely on ADG, UP 112, Lucknow.

Prashant Kumar-II (IPS, 2000): From ADG/IG, Lucknow Zone, he moves to ADG (Administration), DGP Headquarters, Lucknow.
