Tarit Kanti Chakma Appointed CEO, TRLM
In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Government of Tripura has transferred 13 senior officials across the IAS, IFS, and TCS cadres. According to a notification issued by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department, the new appointments took effect from July 1, 2025. The restructuring aims to enhance governance efficiency and strengthen service delivery in key sectors.
Key IAS-Level Transfers and Appointments
Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM), Agartala. He was previously serving as DM & Collector, Gomati District (Udaipur).
Rinku Lather, IAS, formerly ADM & Collector, Sepahijala and Additional Commissioner, AMC, has taken over as the new DM & Collector of Gomati District.
Saju Vaheed A, IAS, is now the Managing Director of the National Health Mission (NHM) and Member Secretary, National AYUSH Mission (NAM). He replaces Prashant Badal Negi, IAS, who has been relieved of both NHM and NAM responsibilities.
Megha Jain, IAS, earlier ADM & Collector (PP), West Tripura, has been appointed Director of Urban Development, Commissioner, TUDA, and CEO, Tripura Jal Board.
Dr. Sailesh, IAS, will continue as Director of Industries & Commerce and CEO, Agartala Smart City, but has been relieved of the Skill Development portfolio.
Pradip K., IAS, formerly ADM & Collector, South Tripura (Belonia), is now the new Director of Skill Development.
Significant IFS and TCS Reassignments
Akinchan Sarkar, TCS SSG, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Finance Department, and will also serve as Director of Treasuries, Member Secretary of the Tripura State Finance Commission, and Commissioner of Taxes.
Bijay Sinha, TCS Gr-I, previously Senior Deputy Magistrate, Unakoti, has been posted as ADM & Collector, North Tripura (Dharmanagar).
Mihir Kanti Gop, IAS, is now serving as Additional Director of Urban Development, Agartala.
Ajit Sukladas, IAS, Additional Secretary in the RD Department, has been assigned as Director of Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, and Managing Director, THHDC Ltd.
R. Arun Kumar, IFS, who previously held the above position, has been repatriated to the Forest Headquarters, Agartala.
