The Madhya Pradesh Home Department has announced fresh postings for senior IPS officers as part of an ongoing administrative reshuffle. The changes follow a new directive from the General Administration Department, which has extended the state’s transfer window from May 30 to June 10, allowing more time for departmental adjustments across the state.

As part of the latest Home Department order, two IPS officers have been transferred, while one officer has been assigned additional responsibilities.
Pragya Richa Srivastava Appointed DG, Home Guard & Disaster Management
Pragya Richa Srivastava, a 1991-batch IPS officer, who was serving as Special Director General of Police (Women Safety) at the Police Headquarters in Bhopal, has now been appointed as the Director General, Home Guard, Civil Security, and Disaster Management, Madhya Pradesh.
Anil Kumar Posted as ADGP, Women Security
Anil Kumar, a 1996-batch IPS officer, has been transferred from his role as ADGP, SISF, to the position of ADGP, Women Security, at the Police Headquarters, Bhopal. He will continue to hold additional charge of the Welfare Division.
Chanchal Shekhar Assigned Additional Charge of SISF
Chanchal Shekhar, a 1995-batch IPS officer, has been given additional charge of ADGP, SISF, Police Headquarters, Bhopal, in addition to his current responsibilities. This is a temporary arrangement until further orders.
