Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has issued a fresh transfer order involving two 2015-batch IAS officers of the Maharashtra cadre, with both officers receiving new assignments in Pune.
The changes concern the Maharashtra State Council of Education Research & Training (MSCERT) and the Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), two important institutions involved in education, training and administrative capacity-building in the state.
Under the latest order, Mangesh Hiraman Joshi, IAS (2015), has been posted as Director of MSCERT, Pune. Dr H.S. Vasekar, IAS (2015), has been posted as Deputy Director General of YASHADA, Pune.
Interestingly, the two officers are moving into the positions previously held by each other. Joshi was serving as Deputy Director General at YASHADA, while Vasekar was working as Director at MSCERT. However, the movement should not be described as a formal exchange or swap of postings. The order simply assigns each officer a new responsibility at the respective institution.
