2011-Batch IDAS Officer Rahul Eknath Karale Assigned Five-Year Tenure at Delhi Development Authority
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has directed Rahul Eknath Karale, a 2011-batch Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) officer, to take up a five-year posting at the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
According to an official office memorandum dated October 30, 2026, Karale has been assigned to the DDA for a tenure of five years.
The posting places the officer in one of the key administrative organisations responsible for planned urban development, infrastructure expansion and land management in the national capital.
The Delhi Development Authority plays a significant role in shaping Delhi’s urban landscape through housing projects, land development, infrastructure planning and the implementation of various urban development initiatives.
Karale’s five-year assignment marks a new administrative responsibility in his career as a member of the Indian Defence Accounts Service.
