IAS officer Ashish Goyal has been given new responsibility as Director General (Media).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the
Election Commission of India for appointment of IAS Ashish Goyal, He will be serving on the new position at the Joint Secretary level. The post has been assigned to him by upgrading a vacant post of Director in the Election Commission of India.
A year 1996 batch senior IAS officer Ashish Gohal is at present rendering services as Additional DG, National Museum under the Ministry of Culture as Director General (Media)., Election Commission of India, for an overall tenure of 5 years upto 30.04.2028 or until further orders, whichever is earlier,
