An extension of deputation tenure has been granted to IAS officer SonaI V Misra at the Centre.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal
of the Ministry of Home Affairs for extension of deputation tenure of IPS officer SonaI V Misra.
A year 2000 batch IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, SonaI V Misra is currently serving as Inspector General, CRPF. Now with the extension she will be on the post for a period of one year beyond 20.12.2024 (total 8 years), in relaxation of the IPS Tenure Policy.
