Five IAS officers, including Amod Kumar, have been empanelled for Joint Secretary-level roles in Central Government.
New Delhi: The Government of India has approved the empanelment of five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from different state cadres and batches for Joint Secretary or equivalent positions in the central government.

With this empanelment, these officers become eligible for appointment to senior policy-making positions across various ministries and departments, subject to the availability and suitability of roles.
