Haryana Government has transferred two IAS officers in a minor reshuffle. Manoj Kumar has been posted as Special Secretary in the Finance Department, while Anupama Anjali has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Mahendragarh at Narnaul.
In a minor yet significant administrative reshuffle, the Haryana Government, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has ordered the transfer of two senior officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) with immediate effect. The decision, issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, reflects the state’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and ensure continuity in district administration and departmental functioning.
Manoj Kumar Posted to Finance Department
Shri Manoj Kumar, who was serving as Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Mahendragarh at Narnaul, has been transferred and appointed as Special Secretary in the Finance Department. His new posting comes against a vacant position, signaling the government’s intent to fill critical administrative gaps in one of the state’s most vital departments.
The Finance Department plays a central role in managing Haryana’s fiscal policies, budgetary planning, and financial oversight. Manoj Kumar’s experience in district administration is expected to contribute to strengthening financial governance and policy implementation at the state level.
Anupama Anjali Takes Charge as Mahendragarh DC
Ms. Anupama Anjali, who was serving as Administrator, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), Faridabad, and Additional Director, Urban Estate, Faridabad, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Mahendragarh at Narnaul. She replaces Manoj Kumar in the district administration.
As Deputy Commissioner, Anupama Anjali will be responsible for overseeing law and order, revenue administration, and the implementation of government schemes in Mahendragarh. Her prior experience in urban development and estate management is expected to bring fresh administrative perspective to the district.
Administrative Continuity and Governance Focus
Though limited in scope, this reshuffle reflects the Haryana Government’s emphasis on efficient administrative functioning and optimal deployment of officers in key positions. Transfers of IAS officers are routine in governance, but they play a crucial role in ensuring that policy implementation at both the district and departmental levels remains smooth and effective.
By appointing Anupama Anjali to Mahendragarh and shifting Manoj Kumar to Finance, the government has sought to balance district-level leadership with departmental expertise, thereby reinforcing its governance framework.
The transfer of these two IAS officers highlights the Haryana Government’s proactive approach to administrative management. While Manoj Kumar’s move to the Finance Department strengthens fiscal oversight, Anupama Anjali’s appointment as Mahendragarh DC ensures continuity in district governance. Together, these changes reflect the state’s commitment to effective administration and responsive governance.
