In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Punjab Government has ordered the transfer and posting of 15 IAS, IFS, and PCS officers across various departments and districts. The orders, issued by Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha (IAS: 1992) under the directives of the Governor, come into immediate effect.

Ms. Bhawna Garg (IAS: 1999) has been appointed Principal Secretary, Jails, relieving Ms. Jaspreet Talwar of her additional charge.

Ms. Senu Duggal (IAS: 2012), currently Managing Director, Sugarfed, has been given additional charge as MD, Punjab Financial Corporation under the Industries & Commerce Department.

Mr. Ravinder Singh (IAS: 2017) will now hold the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities, alongside his Labour portfolio.

Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari (IFS: 2007) has been appointed Chief Conservator of Forests (Hills). He has also been entrusted with several key responsibilities in the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, including roles at Virasat-e-Khalsa and the Punjab Tourism Development Corporation. His CCF (Hills) posting will be formalized by a separate order from the Forest Department.
