In a significant administrative move, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced the transfer of 11 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, aiming to enhance law enforcement effectiveness and streamline administrative operations across the state.
Among the most prominent changes, IPS officer Tarun Gauba (2001 batch), who was previously serving as the Police Commissioner of Prayagraj, has now been appointed as the Inspector General (IG) of Police, Lucknow Zone, replacing the outgoing officer.
