The Competent Authority has approved the re-designation of the post of Regional Director (Deputy Secretary level), currently held by Mr Ashish Kumar Srivastava, IAS (UD:2011), as Regional Director (Director level) in the Staff Selection Commission, Prayagraj, as a personal measure.
This re-designation shall take effect from the date Mr Srivastava assumes charge of the upgraded post and will remain valid until 10.11.2029, constituting a five-year tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Mr KM Mallikarjuna Prasanna, IPS (2000:MH) has been appointed as Inspector General in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) against an existing vacancy.
Mr Babu Ram, IPS (2009:BH) has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on a deputation basis.
