UP Government has approved the VRS of senior IPS officer Ashish Gupta.
At present IPS officer Gupta was serving as Director General, Rules & Manuals. He was the second senior-most IPS officer in the UP Cadre.
Lately on March 12, 2025, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has approved the voluntary retirement (VRS) application of senior IPS officer Ashish Gupta who was a 1989-batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IPS officer.
Currently IPS Gupta was serving as Director General, Rules & Manuals, was the second senior-most IPS officer in the cadre. He had 22 months remaining before his scheduled retirement in December 2026.
