In a revised directive issued on Friday, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has cancelled the transfer of two IAS officers, originally included in its order dated October 17, 2024.
As per the updated notification, the transfer of Mr. Saugat Biswas (2006-batch IAS, AGMUT cadre) from Arunachal Pradesh to Jammu & Kashmir, and Ms. Yasha Mudgal (2007-batch IAS, AGMUT cadre) from Jammu & Kashmir to Puducherry, has been revoked.
The MHA clarified that this is a partial modification of the previous order. All other transfer directives issued in the original notification remain unchanged.
This update comes as part of routine cadre adjustments and administrative reconsiderations within the AGMUT framework.
